Job summary

Rocket Lab in Virginia is offering a full-time security internship for 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027. You will work closely with mentors and the security team to apply classroom knowledge to real challenges in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in 1:1 meetings, attend tech talks, and network with interns and employees while gaining hands-on experience in national security, emergency management, and related fields.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an associates, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in field of criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar.and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
• GPA of 3.0
• 3+ months of general work experience (internships or other personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with your mentor and the security department to apply your knowledge and grow your skills both technically and professionally.
• Attend frequent 1:1’s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver results on development projects in the security domain.

Education

Associate to Doctorate degree program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or similar

GPA of 3.0
