Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Manager to lead a contingent opening within the Exploration, Environment & Earth Intelligence Division. The PM will drive strategy, oversee support services, and manage contractor activities for NASA and space industry customers.

The ideal candidate has extensive program management experience, strong leadership and communications skills, and the ability to coordinate diverse teams across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field with 10+ years’ experience.
• 4+ years program management in a technical program or large multi-faceted task order.
• Experience with different contract types (e.g., FFP) and financial/risk processes.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of accountability for overall contract performance.
• Primary customer contact for CO/COR and customer leadership.
• Build strong relationships ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Organize and manage multiple teams led by technical leads to meet requirements.
• Coordinate with partners and support personnel to execute plans.
• Forecast budgets, labor resources, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform contract management to meet quality, OCI, property, and IT security obligations.
• Ensure optimal staffing with appropriate skill levels.
• Oversee multi-function project teams delivering contractual deliverables.
• Manage subcontractor and teaming partner performance.
• Communicate program status to customer and Leidos management.
• Support proposals, recompete, and growth opportunities.
• Mentor and develop employees for career growth.
