Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Manager to support the Exploration, Environment & Earth Intelligence Division. This role will manage strategy, support services, and contractor deliverables for NASA and space industry clients, serving as the primary customer contact and supervising contractor staff.

Responsibilities include controlling scope, cost, and schedule; building customer relationships; coordinating multi-team efforts; and supporting business growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field; 10+ years technical and/or supervisory/management experience.
• Master’s degree plus 8+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in program management for a technical contract or large multi-faceted task order valued at $10M+ annually.
• Experience with different contract types, such as FFP.
• Experience in financial, performance, business, process, resource, risk, and change management.
• Experience leading multi-function project teams in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in business development processes.
• Excellent written and oral communications; ability to present to executives.
• Mentoring, coaching, collaboration, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of accountability for overall contract performance: scope, cost, schedule, staffing, and technical quality.
• Act as primary customer contact (CO, COR, customer technical leadership).
• Build strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Plan, organize and manage multiple teams led by technical leads to meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate with task/functional leaders, other companies, and support personnel to execute plans.
• Generate forecasts for budget, labor resources, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform contract management tasks to meet quality, safety, OCI, property, and IT security obligations.
• Ensure optimal staffing with appropriate skill levels.
• Oversee multi-function project teams delivering contract technical deliverables.
• Manage subcontractor and teaming partner performance as applicable.
• Communicate program status to customer and Leidos Division Manager.
• Support proposals, recompetes, and growth opportunities; identify adjacent mission work.
• Mentor and develop employees for future career growth.
