Job summary

ARES is seeking a Risk Manager to support the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) program at Kennedy Space Center, FL. You will lead risk identification, mitigation planning, tracking, and reporting within a system engineering context and a matrixed organization.

The role requires a technical background, MS Office proficiency, and experience with risk management processes and databases. Collaboration with program stakeholders, PMs, and engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency with risk repository/database software.
• Experience in aerospace or defense programs is preferred.
• Ability to operate effectively in matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk identification and mitigation plan development.
• Document risk information in risk repository/database software.
• Facilitate risk review forums and prepare presentations.
• Advise leads when to report risks to higher levels.
• Create risk reports and status presentations for risk reviews.
