Job summary

John F. Kennedy Space Center seeks a Senior Technical Leader to oversee the integration and technical direction of the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) program. You will chair reviews, manage the technical baseline, and work across Orion and SLS programs to deliver integrated solutions.

The role requires leadership of architecture and interfaces with NASA HQ divisions, and interaction with EGS management, authorities, and governance bodies to ensure compliant technical decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major study in engineering, physical science, mathematics, life sciences, computer science, or other field of science.
• Official transcript required if selected.
• Foreign education credentials must be evaluated by a private organization for equivalence to U.S. education.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical direction, integration and leadership of all technical aspects of the EGS program.
• Chair the EGS Program Review Board and advise on technical baseline, changes, and recommendations.
• Interface daily with EGS management and Technical Authorities; coordinate with Orion and Space Launch System Programs.
• Approve engineering recommendations and align with Agency and Center specifications and standards.
