Job summary

ARES Corporation at Johnson Space Center in Houston seeks a Senior Scheduler to develop, manage, and optimize project schedules in line with NASA guidelines.

You will lead scheduling teams, integrate IMS, perform risk analyses, and deliver status packages. The role requires advanced skills with MS Project, Milestones Pro, Acumen Fuse, and Excel.

This is a full-time on-site position offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities to influence major NASA programs.

Qualifications

• Experience performing probabilistic schedule risk analysis (SRA) and schedule health analysis.
• Proficient with scheduling tools and integrated scheduling workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed, logic-driven project schedules that comply with NASA Schedule Management Handbook standards.
• Create proposal schedules, full project life cycle schedules, and closeout schedules to support program planning and execution.
• Integrate multiple project schedules to enable cross-project resource analysis and inform decision-making.
• Perform routine schedule health assessments, generate performance metrics, and conduct trend analysis on a weekly to monthly basis.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with technical points of contact to plan tasks and milestones, gather status updates, and present schedule progress.
• Prepare and deliver schedule status packages, including summary reports, milestone updates, and critical path assessments.
• Conduct what-if analyses to evaluate schedule workarounds and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Perform recurring schedule risk assessments, including uncertainty and sensitivity analyses.
• Integrate contractor and contributor schedules into comprehensive Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Lead a team of schedulers in integrating many sub-tier schedules, integrate those schedules in one master schedule, and create reporting schedules that integrate with peer NASA Programs.
• Provide expert scheduling guidance in response to rapidly evolving programmatic requirements.
• Support optimization of project schedules and resource allocations to improve overall program performance.
