Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Manager 2 in the Space Sector to lead a mixed-specialty team through shaping, capture, design, integration, and fielding of counterspace capabilities. You will deliver on cost and schedule while meeting technical requirements and maintaining customer intimacy for value creation.

The role requires Top Secret/SCI eligibility, strong program management, and experience guiding IPTs across the full lifecycle, including proposal development and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6 years; US government contracts or program mgmt experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• Travel up to 20% of the time.
• Experience leading high-performance teams and coordinating cross-functional IPTs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct cross-functional Integrated Program Teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical goals.
• Develop and communicate organizational vision and roadmaps for programs.
• Engage customers, shape proposals, and manage budgets and baselines.
• Ensure adherence to EVM, contract terms, and compliance requirements.
• Identify risks and opportunities; implement mitigation plans and action items.
