Job summary

CACI International’s Danbury Mission Technologies unit seeks a Program Manager to oversee sophisticated Space programs, delivering on cost, schedule, quality and technical performance. You will lead an integrated product team and serve as the primary customer interface to ensure mission success.

You will manage large IPTs, drive risk and corrective actions, coordinate with senior leadership, and support business development to win future opportunities within a funded space portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance or business management.
• 5+ years of DoD and space industry experience.
• 3–5 years direct Program Manager experience with NRE development, hardware integration and testing.
• Experience with Earned Value Management, cost accounting and reporting.
• Strong communication with senior management and leadership of large teams.
• Knowledge of contracts, BoM/pricing, export regulations, and supply chain basics.
• Active U.S. Government Security Clearance (or recent debrief) within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Planning, direction, and control to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals throughout the program life cycle.
• Effective management of a large size Integrated Product Team, resource planning, and financial execution.
• Identify and pursue new business development opportunities.
• Provide oversight to direct program Cost Account Managers (CAMs).
• Collaborate with functional leaders to define and develop program requirements and execution plans.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions and conduct failure review boards.
• Oversee large proposal preparation, proposal team performance, execution and on-time delivery.
• Lead monthly program reviews, monitor EAC sustainment, schedule, risk, and continuous improvement.
