Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies Corp. is hiring a PCBA Conformal Coating Technician in Northern California. The role supports new coating processes for spaceflight hardware, operating automated equipment and performing manual coating steps.

You will read assembly drawings, follow work instructions, and work with engineering teams to develop and document activities. A high school diploma and 2+ years hands-on electronics experience are required, with attention to detail and teamwork essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical program preferred.
• Experience as a technician in electronics or related field with PCBA conformal coating is required.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, work instructions, and travelers.
• Onsite work 5 days a week; strong attention to detail and teamwork needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated dispensing equipment and batch washing systems.
• Perform manual PCBA preparation including masking, staking, de-masking, and touchups.
• Provide feedback to improve coating drawings and processes.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams to support new developments and document activities.
