Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies seeks a PCBA Conformal Coating Technician to support new process development for PCBA conformal coating across spaceflight and ground hardware. You will assist with coating workflows and both automated equipment and manual application processes.

Responsibilities include operating dispensing equipment, performing manual PCBA prep, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering to document future activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years hands-on electronics technician experience.
• Experience with PCBA conformal coating and material handling.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, work instructions, and travelers.
• Familiar with Windows-style PC operating systems.
• Ability to be onsite 5 days a week.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated dispensing equipment and batch washing systems.
• Perform manual PCBA preparation and processes including masking, staking, de-masking, and manual touchups.
• Provide feedback to improve staking coating drawings.
• Perform all work according to work instructions.
• Work with cross functional engineering team to support new developments.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to document future activities.
