Job summary

Astranis is seeking a PCBA Conformal Coating Technician to support new conformal coating processes for spaceflight and ground hardware. You’ll assist with the coating workflow, operating automated equipment and performing manual tasks, with cross-functional engineering collaboration.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of hands-on electronics experience, familiarity with PCBA coating, and the ability to read drawings. On-site work five days weekly is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on technician experience in electronics
• Ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions
• Familiar with Windows-style PC operating systems
• onsite 5 days a week with strong attention to detail and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Operate automated dispensing equipment and batch washing systems
• Perform manual PCBA preparation and processes (masking, staking, de-masking, touchups)
• Provide feedback to improve coating drawings
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams to support new developments
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to document future activities
