Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a senior MS&A engineer to provide technical capabilities in modeling, simulation, and analysis of space, air, and ground systems. You will lead projects, translate customer needs into technical solutions, and mentor junior staff in a dynamic, onsite environment in Chantilly, VA or El Segundo, CA.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in engineering and 8+ years of related experience, with space domain knowledge and TS clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years of professional engineering/scientific experience.
• Experience with space operations or related domains.
• Experience with two or more space systems domains.
• Experience with Python/C++/MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical authority in assigned area(s).
• Translate program needs into MS&A solutions.
• Plan, lead, and contribute to analysis projects.
• Develop and deliver presentations and reports.
• Mentor junior staff and support learning environment.
• Travel as needed.
