Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced engineer to provide modeling, simulation, and analysis across space, air, and ground systems. You will lead technical analyses, mentor staff, and translate customer needs into robust MS&A solutions in a fast-paced environment.

This onsite role requires a TS clearance, broad space-domain knowledge, and proven leadership. The position offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for advanced training within Aerospace.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, astronautical, mechanical, electrical, software) or closely related technical field.
8+ years of professional engineering/scientific experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
Technical understanding of space operations and related domains.
Experience with two or more of: space systems, space surveillance, spacecraft ground systems, communications, C2, or killchain.
Experience with Python, C++, or MATLAB.
Experience leading a team to accomplish an objective.
Current Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Represent the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department as a technical authority.
Plan and lead technical analysis projects across space, air, and ground systems.
Translate program needs into MS&A solutions and models.
Develop and deliver presentations and reports.
Mentor junior staff and foster a learning environment.
Travel occasionally as required.
