Job summary

Stratos Solutions in Chantilly, VA seeks a Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) Engineer to support an IC space customer. You will study complex space-domain problems across satellite, ground, and space communication architectures to inform mission and acquisition decisions.

This role conducts system-level analyses and produces data-driven recommendations, documenting results and presenting to government stakeholders. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM fields.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• 2+ years of modeling, simulation, or engineering analysis experience.
• Experience with tools: C++, Python, R, SQL/PostgreSQL, Linux, MATLAB, VBA, STK.

Responsibilities

• Modeling, simulation, and technical analysis across space-domain systems.
• Perform orbital, link, and payload analyses to inform performance.
• Document results and present findings to government stakeholders.
• Support trade studies and development of analytic roadmaps.
