The Aerospace Corporation seeks an Engineering Specialist for Signal & Image Processing and Modeling & Simulation Engineering to join the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department in the Integrated Performance Subdivision. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chantilly, VA, with El Segundo, CA as an alternate location, and requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited school.
• 8+ years of engineering/scientific experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
• Advanced experience with Python and C++.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate program needs into modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks.
• Represent CMED as a technical authority in your areas of expertise.
• Lead and contribute to technical analysis projects with timely, accurate results.
• Develop and present briefings and reports for program offices and customers.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of learning and feedback.
• Travel occasionally as required.
