Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL is seeking a hands-on Material Handler for the Jemison Tube Shop. You will expedite material flow, maintain shop organization, and partner with Production Control, Suppliers, and Warehouse to ensure a steady inventory of tube stock and fittings to keep production on schedule.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work on a production floor, lift up to 40 lbs, and familiarity with ERP/inventory systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Able to work on a production floor, stand and verify materials across locations.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and operate lifting equipment as needed.
• Experience interfacing with ERP/inventory systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain real-time awareness of materials, status, and readiness across the Tube Shop.
• Identify at-risk or missing materials before they impact schedules.
• Coordinate with Production Control and Suppliers to move materials.
• Track incoming raw material and expedite orders with suppliers/warehouse.
• Pull and deliver kit materials per work orders.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory record-keeping.
• Support 5S, general housekeeping, and shop maintenance.
• Operate overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts as qualified.
