Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing and Supply Chain Coordinator to facilitate the flow of aerospace hardware and equipment across Blue Origin facilities. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with work orders and efficient movement of parts, materials, and tooling in support of manufacturing.

The role demands at least a high school diploma or GED, 3 years in manufacturing, forklift experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Must be open to working all required shift hours, including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all applicable Blue Origin departments to ensure on-time delivery of raw material, parts, consumables and tooling to and from the appropriate work centers.
• Enforce completion of work center buyoffs prior to moving hardware to the next work center.
• Ensure hardware and equipment are properly staged for inter-plant transportation/movement.
• Cross-reference and confirm part quantity, part number, serial number, labeling and routing sheet persist with hardware throughout plant movements.
• Ensure inventory movements are properly transacted and accurate.
• Contribute to zero-defect philosophy by escalating observed non-conformance or design/manufacturing issues.
• Participate in production meetings to communicate part status information to management/leadership.
• Resolve past due invoice, receiving corrections and blind receipts.
