Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a detail-oriented Materials/Logistics Coordinator to drive the flow of aerospace hardware and supplies across Blue Origin facilities. You will coordinate with departments, stage materials, and ensure accurate part documentation during plant movements.

Role requires forklift experience, 3+ years in manufacturing, and ability to lift 50 lbs. You will support inventory accuracy and participate in production meetings to keep part status aligned with leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Willingness to utilize powered lifting equipment, jib, crane or hoists.
  • Must be open to working all required shift hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with all applicable Blue Origin departments to ensure on-time delivery of raw material, parts, consumables and tooling to and from the appropriate work centers.
  • Enforce completion of work center buyoffs prior to moving hardware to the next work center.
  • Ensure hardware and equipment are properly staged for inter-plant transportation/movement.
  • Cross-reference and confirm part quantity, part number, serial number, labeling and routing sheet persist with hardware throughout plant movements.
  • Ensure inventory movements are properly transacted and accurate.
  • Contribute to zero-defect philosophy by escalating observed non-conformance or design/manufacturing issues that deviate from the nominal process.
  • Support inventory deviation investigations found within work centers.
  • Participate in production meetings to communicate part status information to management/leadership.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient process flow by contributing to development/refinement of queuing software.
  • Resolve past due invoice, receiving corrections and blind receipts.
