Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a dedicated Material Handler in Huntsville to support the Jemison Tube Shop. You will expedite material flow, maintain shop organization, and partner with Production Control, Suppliers, and Warehouse to ensure timely availability of tube stock and fittings for manufacturing.

Ideal candidates have attention to detail, can lift up to 40 lbs, and are comfortable working with ERP systems and lifting equipment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Strong attention to detail and problem solving are essential.
Ability to work on a production floor and verify hardware/material across multiple work centers.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and operate lifting equipment.
Familiarity with ERP/inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
U.S. citizenship or eligible work status is required.

Responsibilities

Maintain real-time awareness of hardware, raw material, and fittings across the Tube Shop.
Identify at-risk or missing material before it impacts the build schedule.
Coordinate with Production Control, Suppliers, and Warehouse to track material movement.
Track incoming raw material and fittings, expedite orders, and resolve shortages.
Pull, stage, and deliver materials to work centers per work orders.
Support inventory record-keeping and cycle counts.
Perform housekeeping and basic shop maintenance; operate equipment as qualified.
Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
