Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a material expeditor for the Jemison Tube Shop to ensure timely material flow and inventory readiness. You will partner with Production Control, Suppliers, and Warehouse to keep tube stock and fittings available to support schedule adherence.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work on a busy production floor, and capability to lift up to 40 lbs. Prior ERP/inventory experience is a plus; safety and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to work on a production floor and verify hardware/material across areas.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and use lifting equipment/machinery.
• Experience interfacing with ERP/inventory systems and MS Office.
• Good written and verbal communication; follow directions and meet expectations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain real-time awareness of hardware, material, and fittings across the Tube Shop.
• Identify at-risk or missing material before it impacts the build schedule.
• Coordinate material movement between control, suppliers, and warehouse.
• Track incoming raw material and expedite orders to resolve shortages.
• Pull, stage, and deliver material per work orders to the correct center.
• Support accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
