Job summary

Vast Space Llc. in Long Beach, CA is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical assistance to colleagues and keep systems running smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for issues, delivering timely solutions and exceptional customer service.

This full-time, on-site role requires hands-on hardware knowledge, familiarity with Windows and Mac, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT experience.
• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Jira SM, Zendesk).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Provide help desk support and resolve problems to end user’s satisfaction.
• Maintains and supports laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones and other network-enabled devices.
• Monitor, respond and resolve incidents in an ITSM system ensuring SLA performance (e.g., Jira SM, Zendesk).
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and MacOS.
• Some understanding of Active Directory or LDAP.
• Onboarding/offboarding users.
• Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades.
• Provide support for multiple locations.
• Install and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
