Job summary

Rocket Lab's Additive Manufacturing Intern program in Long Beach, CA offers hands-on experience in metal additive manufacturing for Electron, Neutron, and Space Systems programs. You will work with mentors in a fast-paced engineering team, applying your knowledge to real challenges while growing professionally.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an engineering/physics/math degree with at least 3.0 GPA and 3+ months of applied engineering experience, including internships or projects.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with your mentor and other department members to apply knowledge and grow skills.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced group to apply engineering concepts to real challenges
• Attend frequent 1:1’s with mentors and supervisors for progress updates
• Network with interns and employees through tech talks and events
