Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern. You will work with design, production and quality teams to develop and qualify processes for rocket engines, supporting hands-on engineering with advanced machinery.

You will collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams to deliver results, attend tech talks, and grow technically and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory or project work).

Responsibilities

• As an intern, you will work closely with your mentor and other employees within the department to apply knowledge and grow skills.
• Work with a fast-paced group to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors to facilitate success and provide progress updates.
• Engage in technical talks and network with interns and employees through events.
