Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, California, is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Intern to gain hands-on experience in metal additive manufacturing for Electron, Neutron, and Space Systems programs. You will work with mentors to apply engineering concepts, report progress in regular 1:1s, and engage in technical talks and intern events.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math with at least one semester remaining, have a 3.0+ GPA,

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree program in an engineering, physics, or math discipline and have at least one semester remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable).

Responsibilities

• Work with a fast-paced group of professionals to apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1's with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver results and learn through hands-on additive manufacturing projects.
