Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer for our Operations team in Kent, WA. You will lead design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems, ensure quality control, and optimize supply chain logistics for production and operations.

Responsibilities include industrializing new products, supporting DFx, and collaborating with design, quality, and production teams to shorten production timelines.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years in manufacturing/industrial/process engineering.
• 1+ years creating English work instructions.
• Ability to work second shift and extend hours if required.

Responsibilities

• Support industrialization of new products across fluids, avionics, optics, antennas, and assemblies.
• Contribute to DFM/ DFA/ DFT to build reliable space vehicles.
• Translate requirements into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and inspection plans.
• Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and methods.
