Blue Origin in Renton, WA is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems and optimize supply chain logistics for Production/Operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, drive cost reductions, and ensure quality throughout production.

The role focuses on DFMA, producibility, and manufacturing readiness while contributing to safety and mission assurance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering role.
• 1+ years creating English work instructions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Take a crew-systems product from concept through production readiness, plan PRRs and assess MRLs/PRLs.
• Provide DFMA support, partnering with design engineers to influence producibility.
• Translate engineering requirements into robust, repeatable manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation: work instructions, process flow diagrams, tool designs, inspection plans.
• Support build of development and flight units and resolve process/hardware issues on the floor.
