Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a technically talented staff member to join the Space Enterprise Design and Optimization efforts. You will apply advanced simulation, optimization, and analysis to spacecraft architecture, orbital design, and constellation studies in a collaborative, project-driven environment.

This full-time role in multiple U.S. locations requires an MS or PhD in a related field, 0–1 year experience for junior levels, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in a related field within last 12 months or conferred.
• 0-1 year of industry work experience.
• Experience with constellation design, orbital mechanics, or related mathematics.
• Knowledge of Python, C, C++, MATLAB, or similar languages.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship required.
• Transcripts required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep dives, trade studies, and assessments to address customer needs in space architecture design and optimization.
• Use in-house and external tools to deliver analytical insights across programs.
• Contribute to development of analysis software tools and enhance simulation capabilities.
• Prepare presentations and reports with results and recommended solutions.
• Build relationships with cross-organization partners and government customers.
