Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a technically proficient staff member to lead deep dives, trade studies, and analyses across space architecture and constellation optimization. You will work with a team to deliver actionable insights and robust models for national space programs, reporting to technical leaders and customers.

Candidates should have strong skills in orbital mechanics, programming (Python/C/C++/MATLAB), and the ability to collaborate across programs.

Qualifications

• MS in aerospace, astronautical, or mechanical engineering or related field (pursuing or conferred within 12 months).
• 0–1 year of industry experience.
• Experience with constellation design or orbital mechanics.
• Knowledge of Python, C, C++, MATLAB or similar.

Responsibilities

• Independently and collaboratively conduct deep dives, trade studies, and assessments to address customer needs in space architecture design and optimization.
• Leverage in‑house and off‑the‑shelf tools to deliver analytical insights.
• Develop and present analyses and reports to technical leads, management, and customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and cross‑organization partners.
