Job summary

Massage Heights - Des Moines/Ames is seeking an experienced Retreat Operations Manager to oversee all retreat function, drive revenue, manage inventory, and ensure consistent brand standards across shifts. You will recruit, train, and coaching staff while aligning schedules and goals to maximize performance and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching on the floor, and a passion for delivering superior guest service within a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years membership-based service or retail management experience.
• Experience managing hourly wage employees.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws (local/state licensing for therapists/estheticians is helpful).
• Experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and be accountable for all aspects of Retreat operations, including revenue, profitability, inventory, and enforcing brand systems and processes.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain top talent.
• Create and manage team member schedules to ensure daily operations are executed well.
• Set goals for individuals and the team and translate plans into action to meet/exceed them.
• Provide hands-on coaching on the floor to support staff and guest service.
• Lead by example to achieve personal and team goals.
• Create an environment passionate about supreme guest service and loyalty.
