Description

Spa Receptionist 2025

The Promontory Spa team is seeking a qualified and passionate Spa Receptionist to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for providing excellent and efficient guest services in opening and closing the Spa, communicating appointments with members and service providers, promoting Spa offerings, and completing Spa duties. You must have the ability to multi-task while fulfilling job duties in a timely manner. The Promontory Spa Employee provides exceptional service to our members with the highest level of professionalism. Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time – Year Round

Available shifts: 2-4 days a week

Spa hours: 10am-6pm

Shift hours: 9:30am-6:30pm

Compensation: Hourly from at 19+

Responsibilities:

  1. Ability to greet and welcome members with a friendly disposition
  2. Serve as a point person for Spa Director; fulfilling the needs of the Spa
  3. Navigate the schedule and confirm appointments via email and phone
  4. Handle payments and transactions
  5. Be understanding and respond to member needs in a professional and timely manner
  6. Assist members with retail products and menu items
  7. Organize and maintain Spa in a clean and tidy manner
  8. Submit necessary work orders
  9. Assist with product inventory
  10. Unload orders, packages, and assist in the organization of these items
  11. Communicate with staff members on schedule and spa operations
  12. Assist in the development and organization of office operations and procedures
  13. Assist in training process for new hires
Qualifications

Essential Functions & Qualifications:

  1. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize
  2. Customer oriented and able to communicate effectively with members, co-workers, and management
  3. Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
  4. Be present, supporting the needs of the spa during the scheduled shifts
  5. Ability to work long shifts, weekends and holidays
  6. Punctual and reliable
  7. Attention to detail and problem-solving
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication
  9. Team player with co-workers and in helping with spa duties
  10. Must be willing to attend mandatory trainings and help with special events
  11. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment
  12. Ability to maintain grace under pressure
  13. A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  14. Consistent attention to detail in delivering The Promontory experience

Educational Requirements and Certifications: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Previous Experience Required: Two (2) years related experience in a high-profile customer service position; must have excellent customer service and communication skills; basic computer skills and competency in the following, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements: Requires extensive use of hands, physical dexterity, and small object manipulation; must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time; must be able to work with arms at shoulder level for extended periods of time; must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends when needed.
