Job summary

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our Spa team, delivering exceptional guest service on Michigan Avenue.

As a frontline ambassador, you will manage spa desk operations, uphold Peninsula and Forbes standards, and collaborate with other departments to create a seamless guest experience. Prior spa or hotel reception experience is preferred, and proficiency with Opera PMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of reception or spa desk experience in luxury property.
• Knowledge of PMS/Opera; some knowledge in rooms department preferred.
• Ability to handle high work demands with strong organization.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of spa desk responsibilities.
• Adhere to Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Maintain consistency in performance with Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Communicate with departments to create a guest-centric experience.
• Comply with Head Office database requirements and ensure efficient spa desk handover.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure proper operation of all responsibilities of Spa desk operations
• Knowledgeable and fully adheres to both Peninsula and Forbes standards.
• Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with both Peninsula and Forbes standards
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experience
• Be in full compliance with Head Office database requirements
• Ensure efficient operation of the Spa Desk responsibilities with efficient handover

General Requirements:

• 2 years of reception or spa desk experience in luxury property ideal
• Knowledge of PMS/Opera and some knowledge in rooms department preferred
• Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English

To be considered for the position, you must have work authorization in the United States. The salary for this position is $26.50 per hour.
