Job summary

The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a House Attendant to join our Housekeeping team and help create a memorable guest experience in a luxury setting.

Work on a Five-Star Five-Diamond property on Michigan Avenue with a fast-paced environment and exceptional benefits including health, retirement plan with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of housekeeping related equipment and supplies.
• Able to life and move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Able to follow proper job-related guidance.

Responsibilities

• Report maintenance issues to designated Housekeeping extension.
• Empty trash bins from landings on a daily basis.
• Maintain cleanliness of pantries and service landings.
• Vacuum all guest hallways on a daily basis.
• Sweep/mop service landings, pantries and stairwells daily.
• Clean all service landing doors including attached metal plates daily.
• Clean ice bins and fill daily.
• Complete all guest requests within the standard timeframe.
• Stock guest linen and towels evenly in designated areas daily.
• Clean/dust guest floor, tabletops, service and hallway phones, pictures, lamps and mirrors.
