Water's Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook, CT is seeking a Spa Receptionist to deliver an outstanding guest experience at the front desk. You will greet guests warmly, manage appointments, handle calls and payments, and maintain a tranquil reception area.

The role requires excellent communication, strong multitasking, and reliability in a fast-paced environment. Previous spa experience is a plus, but training is available; flexible weekends/evenings/holidays required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years or older.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to train; prior spa experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor and provide a calming reception.
• Efficiently schedule appointments, confirm bookings, and accommodate guest preferences.
• Answer phone calls and emails promptly; provide information on spa services and packages.
• Process transactions, handle payments, and reconcile daily receipts.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area; promote spa services and products.
• Maintain guest confidentiality and data security; communicate with spa therapists and staff.
• Handle guest concerns with empathy and resolution-focused approach.
• Assist with inventory and restocking of spa products; ensure changing areas are tidy.
