Job summary

Water's Edge Resort & Spa in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our busy spa team. You will provide professional massage and body treatments to guests, delivering outstanding service in a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere.

A current Connecticut license is required. You must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, follow spa protocols, stay knowledgeable about services and products, and maintain high standards of sanitation and customer care.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut Massage Therapist license.
• Knowledge of a variety of massage modalities and body treatments.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to perform massage duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and industry standards.
• Educate guests on wellness, treatment benefits, and home care.
• Prepare, clean, sanitize, and restock treatment rooms before and after each service.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of spa services, products, and retail offerings.
• Follow all state licensing requirements and spa sanitation and sterilization standards.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of guests and business.
• Communicate professionally with guests and team members while helping create a positive, welcoming environment.
• Assist with daily spa operations and support fellow team members as needed.

We provide ongoing training on our signature spa services and treatment protocols to help you succeed.
