Job summary

The Umstead Hotel & Spa in Cary, NC seeks a friendly Spa Receptionist to greet guests, manage daily appointments, and coordinate scheduling for treatments and packages. You will ensure smooth front-desk operations, handle guest inquiries, print schedules, assist with gift cards and payments, and support team members to deliver a polished guest experience.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring basic computer skills and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Secretarial skills desired (typing, filing).
• Computer software skills required.
• First Aid and CPR training desired, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the facility is prepared for proper opening and closing each day (lights/music/doors).
• Makes appointments for al a carte services and packages for immediate or future bookings.
• Acts as a resource for spa and hotel policies, services, memberships and billing.
• Prints daily schedules and staff/guest itineraries, monitors appointments.
• Answers phones, directs calls, and assists guests at issuance desk.
• Maintains guest relations and assists with special projects/events as needed.
