Job summary

Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, CA, seeks a Spa Director to lead strategic planning for the spa facility, including marketing, operations and financial oversight. The role requires developing marketing strategies, identifying new markets, and aligning staff initiatives with hotel objectives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of upper management experience in spa or related field, excels in communication and relationship-building, and will drive exceptional guest experiences at a AAA

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years upper management experience in Spa or a related field.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business relationship skills.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan short and long term strategy for the Spa facility, including marketing, administration, safety, staff and finances.
• Develop marketing strategies, identify new markets, and coordinate with Public Relations on spa promotions.
• Oversee fiscal budgeting, capital improvements and budget preparation.
• Lead staff development and align operations with hotel objectives.
