Job summary

Cooper Aerobics is seeking a Spa Coordinator to manage guest check-in, appointment bookings, and retail sales with a focus on exceptional guest satisfaction. The role requires welcoming guests, educating them on services, and processing payments accurately.

Weekend availability is a must, with a schedule including Tuesdays to Thursdays and additional weekend shifts. A high school diploma or GED plus 1–2 years of customer engagement experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• 1–2 years of direct face to face customer engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with amenities.
• Educate guests on spa services and products.
• Schedule and confirm appointments per spa protocol.
• Process payments and refunds accurately.
• Promote and sell spa products and manage online orders as needed.
• Restock amenities and retail products as required.
• Communicate schedule/room changes to spa team.

Description

The Spa Coordination is responsible for client check in, booking appointments, retail sales, and overall client satisfaction by meeting and exceeding guest expectations. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Schedule: Tuesdays 10am-3pm, Wednesdays 10am-3pm, Thursdays 8am-2pm. Weekend availability is a must.

Spa Coordinator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides exemplary customer service to our guests, teammates, and clients to include the following:
• Warmly greet guests and offer amenities.
• Educate guests on spa services.
• Anticipate guest needs.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating clientele in these areas.
• Schedules and confirms all appointments according to spa protocol.
• Processes payments and refunds accurately as needed.
• Promotes and sells spa products along with processing and shipping online orders as necessary.
• Attends product demonstrations and trainings.
• Restocks amenities and retail products as needed.
• Follows opening, closing, and in shift procedures accurately.
• Communicates effectively with Spa GM, leads and co-workers regarding schedule/room changes, client needs, customer service concerns, etc.
• Supports the mission statement and core values.
• Completes duties on site with consistent, regular, and reliable attendance.

Requirements

The ideal Spa Coordinator candidate should possess:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and exhibit sound judgment.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Ability to learn and master spa software.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2 years of direct face to face customer engagement experience.
• Retail experience preferred, spa experience a plus.
