Job summary

Cooper Aerobics is hiring a Nail Technician to perform manicures, pedicures, and nail services per Cooper Spa protocols. You will assess client needs, educate on treatments, and maintain strict safety and sterilization standards.

The role requires a Texas Cosmetology license, excellent customer service, and the ability to upsell products. CPR is a plus, and lifting up to 35 pounds may be required for events.

Qualifications

• Texas Cosmetology Commission license is required.
• Experience in a salon with ability to educate clients on retail purchases.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• CPR certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds for events setup.

Responsibilities

• Perform spa services per Cooper Spa protocols.
• Assess nails and advise on treatments and at-home regimens.
• Provide manicures, pedicures, and nail treatments with professional products.
• Upsell nail products and services to clients.
• Follow safety procedures and proper sterilization of equipment.
• Maintain safety during services.
• Assist with setup and teardown for events.

Nail Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all spa services reflective of the Cooper Spa protocols
• Assess the condition and appearance of nails to provide advice on proper nail treatments then advise on using at home regimen
• Provide manicures, pedicures, nail treatments etc. using professional products provided by Cooper Spa
• Sell nail products related to nail concerns and up-sell services
• Must be familiar with diseases and disorders of the nails, as well as the associated safety procedures and techniques
• Properly sterilize equipment and sanitize personal tools
• Ensure safety when performing services

Requirements

• Certification License by the Texas Cosmetology Commission.
• Experience in salon environment with strong ability to recommend and educate the clientele on retail purchases.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Current CPR certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment up to 35 pounds in order to set up/tear down special events equipment.
