Job summary

Cooper Aerobics in Dallas, TX is seeking a licensed nail technician to join the Cooper Spa team. You will perform manicure and pedicure services, follow spa protocols, and help enhance the client experience.

Responsibilities include selling nail products, restocking retail items, and communicating daily operations to the lead nail technician. A Texas Cosmetology license and salon experience are required; CPR is a plus. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Texas Cosmetology Commission.
• Salon environment experience with ability to educate clients on retail purchases.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform spa services reflecting Cooper Spa protocols.

If so, the Cooper Spa is looking for a nail technician to join its team of outstanding professionals. The Nail Technician is responsible for providing various services to clients as stated in the spa menu in accordance to the protocols for individual treatments. Also responsible for enhancing the customer experience, selling retail products, re-stocking retail shelves as well as professional supplies upon use and communicating the day-to-day operations to the lead nail technician.

Schedule:

• Saturday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Thursday: 12:00 PM–6:00 PM

Nail Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all spa services reflective of the Cooper Spa protocols
• Assess the condition and appearance of nails to provide advice on proper nail treatments then advise on using at home regimen
• Provide manicures, pedicures, nail treatments etc. using professional products provided by Cooper Spa
• Sell nail products related to nail concerns and up-sell services
• Must be familiar with diseases and disorders of the nails, as well as the associated safety procedures and techniques
• Properly sterilize equipment and sanitize personal tools
• Ensure safety when performing services

Requirements

• Certification License by the Texas Cosmetology Commission.
• Experience in salon environment with strong ability to recommend and educate the clientele on retail purchases.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Current CPR certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift and carry equipment up to 35 pounds in order to set up/tear down special events equipment.
