Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project in the United States is seeking a Grassroots Regional Director to support the Director for Grassroots and Constituent Affairs, developing and implementing grassroots strategies, and overseeing day-to-day volunteer-advocate management.

This role requires coordinating training, outreach, events, and advocacy programming, plus tracking metrics and reporting to leadership. A hybrid work schedule and competitive benefits are offered to a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in grassroots advocacy and constituent engagement.
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences and volunteers.
• Willingness to travel for regional events and fly-ins as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of grassroots strategy for alumni, family members, and groups.
• Oversee regional grassroots engagement and lead volunteer-advocate leaders.
• Coordinate training, outreach, and advocacy opportunities, including events and Zoom/virtual programs.
• Track engagement metrics and report progress to leadership.
• Assist with planning large congressional fly-ins and regional events.
