Job summary

Halter is seeking a driven Account Manager to join our South Canterbury team, supporting top dairy farms and helping farmers achieve productivity and sustainability goals. You will manage renewals, growth opportunities, and on-farm deployment while collaborating with product and field teams.

You’ll travel frequently across the Canterbury region, building strong farmer relationships and translating customer needs into actionable product insights.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in relationship management/account management roles.
• Experience in dairy farming or within the agriculture sector is a plus.
• Strong business acumen and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own retention, renewals and expansion targets for Halter in the Canterbury region.
• Renew customer agreements and drive on-farm revenue growth.
• Support onboarding, training and deployment of Halter systems on farms.
• Build trusted relationships with farmers, their teams and families.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate customer feedback into improvements.
