Job summary

Halter is seeking an Account Manager to join our mission-driven team supporting dairy farms in New Zealand. You will be the primary contact for customers, driving farmer success and growth while coordinating with field teams across the North Island and Auckland HQ.

You’ll collaborate with top-performing farms, deploying Halter’s system, providing practical farming insights, and building lasting partnerships.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in relationship management/account management roles.
• Experience in dairy farming or within the agriculture sector with a deep passion for helping farmers succeed.
• Strong business acumen.
• Positive attitude and collaborative team player who excels at overcoming challenges.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• A hunger for success and personal growth, and an eagerness to evolve alongside a world-class team.

Responsibilities

• Retain and expand revenue by managing existing regional accounts and renewals.
• Help farmers achieve goals by ensuring they extract maximum value from the company system.
• Renew customer agreements and expand revenue with added value in every interaction.
• Support onboarding, training and implementation on farms, ensuring owners, managers and workers can use the system.
• Build genuine relationships with farmers and their teams to understand needs and goals.
• Partner with customers to set clear business goals, timelines and metrics of success.
