Job summary

Taylor Machine Works, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales of Taylor Construction Equipment in the South Alabama territory. You will build relationships, map strategies, and achieve revenue and profitability goals while funding growth through active prospecting and aftersales support.

The role requires 5+ years in construction equipment sales, strong communication, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel approx. 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven sales experience in construction equipment.
• Must have retail experience with a construction equipment dealer.
• Knowledge selling ADT’s is a plus.
• Experience with financial processes and selling heavy machinery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a prospecting strategy to forecast sales and inventory.
• Develop new business within the territory and maintain relationships.
• Review financial goals and manage expenses for the territory.
• Provide product demos, training, and aftersales support.
• Promote services including parts, financing, and aftersales.
• Report monthly and quarterly territory performance to management.
• Research markets to identify growth opportunities and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing on product launches and campaigns.
