Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales/sales management experience in the heavy machinery industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
• Strong sales, leadership, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and be accountable for executing an annual business plan and budget for equipment sales, rentals, service sales, and parts sales within the region.
• Conduct face-to-face sales calls to obtain new business.
• Build an account portfolio of clients and prospects with top segments in the local market.
• Ensure the parts department is properly staffed and inventory is in place to achieve an 80% fill rate and a 90% fill rate within 24 hours for parts not on hand.
• Oversee invoicing for machines, parts, and service to be timely and accurate.
• Maintain customer relations through regular calls and visits; support the Parts/Service Manager for a good equipment experience.
• Provide leadership to the location team, conduct performance reviews, and develop career paths; collaborate with HR on manpower needs and resolutions.
• Collaborate with Corporate COO and Sr. VP of Sales to leverage corporate resources and drive sales, market share, and growth objectives.
