Job summary

Prezzo Italian in the United States is seeking a Sous Chef to be the Head Chef's right hand. You will run shifts, maintain high standards, and take charge when the Head Chef is absent. You will lead by example, train the team, and work closely with front of house to ensure every guest receives the same great impression.

Qualifications

Experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen, including leading shifts.
Pride in food and consistency on every plate.
Calm under pressure with a people-first approach.
Good knowledge of food safety, allergens and health and safety.

Responsibilities

Run the pass and lead shifts with confidence.
Train and coach the team, helping develop the chefs of tomorrow.
Step up and run the kitchen in Head Chef's absence.
Make sure every dish is made fresh, cooked properly and plated to spec.
Jump on any section when it's needed.
Work closely with front of house so every guest gets the same great impression.
Lead on food safety, allergens and health and safety to keep standards audit-ready.
