Qualifications

• 2-3 years of sous chef experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and manage the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Run BOH shifts and oversee food prep, cooking and inventory.
• Lead BOH pre-shift meetings; conduct line, temp and cooler checks and tastings.
• Maintain recipe books in partnership with GM/chefs.
• Perform regular line checks to ensure menu item quality.
• Purchase and order food products and supplies daily.
• Help track and control food cost.
• Communicate production/timing issues between FOH and BOH.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop BOH staff with management.
