Job summary

JOEY Restaurants is seeking a Sous Chef in Dallas to lead a high-performing kitchen and deliver iconic culinary experiences. You will manage labor budgets, maintain a pristine environment, and mentor team members to foster continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities include coordinating prep, cooking with Joey standards, and ensuring safety and quality across all stations. Must have 3+ years of culinary experience and eligible to obtain local/state Food Handler permits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years culinary experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.
• Passion for hospitality and proven track record of world-class hospitality.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team in food prep and cooking to meet recipe standards.
• Coordinate with stations to ensure quick, precise execution of Joey menu items.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe prep and cooking areas.
• Manage in-store budgets, food costs, and labor.
• Coach and mentor team to develop skills and performance.
• Provide daily focus and feedback to partners.
• Support recruitment and retention of team members.
