Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is seeking a Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality menu items and a superior guest experience.

You will supervise in the Restaurant Chef's absence, uphold sanitation, safety and service standards, and collaborate with a fast-paced team in a high-profile gaming environment. Experience in culinary settings and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Formal training and accreditation from an accredited culinary institute with 1–2 years of food production experience.
• Must be able to perform simple numerical calculations.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend and kneel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure quality menu items and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety and customer service.
• Lead in the absence of the Restaurant Chef and ensure smooth operation.
