Job summary

Compass Group USA's Eurest division is hiring a full-time Sous Chef in Charlotte, NC, to support the Executive Chef and lead kitchen operations. The role requires strong leadership and culinary expertise to ensure high standards and timely production.

Location: 11625 North Community House Road, Charlotte, NC 28277. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–3:00 pm. Pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of culinary experience, with leadership skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling, payroll, training, and reviews.
• Stores food in designated areas following safety procedures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils; ensures clean workstation.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
