Job summary

Eurest, a Compass Group brand, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for the Jacksonville, FL area. The role supports the Executive Chef, coordinates cooks, and ensures daily production meets quality standards. The 6:00 am–3:00 pm shift runs Monday through Thursday in a fast-paced food-service environment.

Requires culinary and supervisory experience; offers comprehensive benefits as part of Eurest’s extensive programs. This position is with Ally Financial facilities in Jacksonville, FL.

Qualifications

• Culinary and supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling and training.
• Ensures proper food handling, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Keeps customers satisfied by addressing concerns in a service-oriented way.
• Coordinates kitchen activities in the absence of the Executive Chef.
